    Tropical depression Quinta has left last Saturday. It was moving towards South China Sea but unfortunately it has re-entered in the Philippine area of responsibility. It is expected to bring widespread rains particularly in Luzon. Under the Storm Signal number 1 are Occidental Mindoro Oriental Mindoro, Northern Palawan, Coron, Cuyo Island, Masbate, Romblon, Marinduque, Batangas, Biliran, Northern Negros, Iloilo, Aklan, Capiz, Antique and Guimaras Island. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) spotted the typhoon Quinta in the vicinity of Roxas City. According to PAGASA, it is moving west northwest at 22 kilometers per hour with a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. PAGASA said that Northern and Central Luzon will be experiencing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Typhoon Quinta will bring heavy rains over Northern Luzon and in different parts of the country. Whatever happens, Philipines remains strong and steady. Filipinos are always prepared.

    The typhoon Ofel continued to take a strength and styyarted to move towards the Batanes-Taiwan Area. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said ” “Ofel” was 650 km east of Casiguran, Aurora” The area that is in sorm signal no. 1 are in Isabela, Cagayan, Calayan, Babuyan Group of Islands, and Batanes. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) stated that “the packed maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph, and was moving northwest at 19 kph.” it also said ” “Ofel” is due 490 km northeast of Casiguran, Aurora or at 410 km east northeast of Aparri, Cagayan” they added also that typhoon ofel “will continue to enhance the southwest monsoon and bring rains over Visayas and Mindanao particularly the Western sections.” For awhile there is a low pressure area that was estimated at 510 km west of Iba, Zambales.Because of this typhoon Ofel it is advisable that the residents in the low0-lying areas and near the mountain places to evacuate as soon as possible because for the safeness, it is possible that it will have a lash flood and landslide.

    This typhoon Ambo is the second typhoon that hits the Philippine area. This typhoon was formed in the North of Mindanao and struck Hainan. First this tyhoon declares by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Authority or PAGASA that this is a low pressure only then it becomes a typhoon. According to the China Meteorological Administration”42,000 residents were displaced in the aftermath of Neoguri. 18 Chinese fisherman and 22 Vietnamese fisherman remain missing due to the storm. Three fatalities have been confirmed in China, two due to a road being covered in a mud flow, and another due to winds blowing a sheet of aluminum into a person, throwing them off the roof of a stadium.” then the PAGASA said in the news that The typhoon continued north, weakening as it did so] The .cyclone made landfall as a weak tropical storm on Guangdong province in southern China,and the final advisories from both agencies were issued shortly after.     The Philippines has a typhoon and the name of the typhoon is Helen wherein Helen hits the Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Authority said that “Typhoon signal 2 was raised in three areas in Northern Luzon as tropical storm “Helen” maintained its strength while slowly moving westward,”. The PAGASA announce the storm signals by the following places  “Public storm warning signal number 2 was raised over Cagayan, the Calayan Group of Islands, and Isabela, while signal number 1 has been raised in Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and Aurora. No other public storm warning signal has been raised elsewhere.”  then it added that “The storm’s center was located 270 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. The storm was moving “west slowly.” The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Authority (PAGASA)   that the typhoon Helen will in in 190 kilometer per hour in southeast Aparri and it could be 50 kilometer north or 260 kilometer west northwest of the town. This typhoon Helen is not that strong if you compare to the other typhoon that hits the Philippine country. But it also destroy some imporatant things in the country.

    Typhoon Frank is really a destructive storm. It has continued its strength. Its eye is located 90 kilometers southeast of Metro Manila. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and AstronomicalServices Administration reported that the typhon Frank will move north northwest at 15 kph and it has a maximum winds of 120 kph and gustiness of up to 150 kph. The PAGASA declared the storm signal number 3 in Metro Manila, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Lubang Island, Marinduque, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, Quezon Province, Polillo Island, Southern Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan,Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan. While the storm signal number 2 is on Calamian Group of Islands, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Rest of Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, and La Union. The storm signal number 1 remains hoisted in Northern Palawan, Burias Island, Albay, Camarines Sur, Southern Isabela, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Ilocos Sur, Aklan, Capiz and Antique. Typhoon Frank hits National Capital Region (NCR). The power and transmission lines have been affected. That is the reason why there is no electricity in that place but even if there are so many interruptions have happened, everything will be okay.     According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), this was the first time that four tropical cyclones entered inside the Philippine area of responsibility during the month of May since 1948. The usual case is that the maximum tropical cyclones enter in the Philippines during the month of May is three. Typhoon Enteng had an international name of Nakri. The (PAGASA) said that typhoon Enteng just had an insignificant effect because it was not expected to affect any part of the country but there was a big possibility that it might develop into supertyphoon. The typhoon Enteng is  quite weak as it moved away from the Philippine area of responsibility. No storm signal were raised. Typhoon Enteng had a sustained winds of 165 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 200 kph and was moving north at 15 kph. It was spotted at 1,310 km northeast of Northern Luzon or 630 km east-southeast of Okinawa, Japan.

    The large damage because of the typhoon Cosme in the Eastern Luzon Provinces of Pangasinan, La Union, and Zambales was stated on a state of calamit. The GMA Flash Report said that ” In Pangasinan alone, the local disaster coordinating council said that 11 people had already been killed while damage to agriculture was pegged at around P1.3 billion,” The government make a move already by giving the usual relief goods like food and medicine. The local government said “they are in need of construction materials for the rebuilding of the damaged houses.” The typhoon Cosme destroy many agricultural businesses . The typhoon destroy the corn plantations, meanwhile, were estimated to be P1 million and a much bigger P8 million were lost in the vegetable farming sector. Then the province of Zambales has also placed in state of calamity. The Zambales provincial government stated that “100 more sacks of rice that would be rationed off to affected families in Sta. Cruz town, a second class municipality believed to be the worst-hit among the provinces 13 towns.” Then as the PAGASA updated the typhoon cosme “moves farther away from the country, the typhoon was estimated to be 660 kilometers east northeast of Basco Batanes ” This typhoon destroy many things so that we should help them even in a small thing that can help them to live like giving or donating clothes,food,money and medicine.

    Typhoon Butchoy had an international name of Rammasun. According to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the typhoon Butchoy did not cross the mainland but because of the southwest monsoon would bring heavy rains. That was the reason why it triggered flooding and landslides in Quezon City, Palawan, Negros Occidental, Antique, Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, North Cotabato, Basilan and Shariff Kabunsuan. This typhoon brought a heavy rains in Western Visayas which caused a big destructions in the agriculture and infrastructure sectors in Negros Occidental. They lost a number of agriculture crops, fisheries, livestock and poultry because of flood. The estimated amount of damage is at least P11 million. The government declared a state of calamity in 40 barangays in Iloilo City. The roads and bridges have been affected. The road from Bacolod City to southern Negros was totally damaged and it cost around P6 million. In Quezon City, the protection along Barangay Bagong Silangan had colapsed. This typhoon is really destructive in such a way that almost 10,200 families have been affected.

    This typhoon Butchoy according to the weather Bureau said , ” has moved farther away from the Philippines, but is expected to bring rains over the western sections of the Visayas and Mindanao in the coming days” According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration “Butchoy, packing maximum winds of 175 kph with gustiness of 210 kph, was hovering over the Philippine Sea some 790 km east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes”.  It is moving to the north at 19 kilometer per hour, it;s forecast to be 990 km east of Aparri, Cagayan . Nathaniel Cruz, weather branch chief of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that It is on it’s way out. It is quite strong but it has no more effect on the archipelago. The PAGASA said also that “Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with rainshowers today. The rainshowers will become more widespread in the western sections of the Visayas and Mindanao later in the day, including Panay island” According to Cruz it  will experiencing thunderstorm in Metro Manila.
