Typhoon Auring is the first tropical storm to hit the Philippines this year 2009. This typhoon is not that as powerful as compare to others. According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), typhoon Auring has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center. Eastern Visayas and parts of northeast Mindanao has been threatened by typhoon Auring. Only Eastern Samar was placed under Storm Signal No. 1 and they no longer raise any storm signals in the other parts of the country. Bedcause of typhoon Auring, five persons lost their lives and it has destroyed property and agricultural products worth over P95 million in Northern Samar. A number of people were stranded in different ports and stations in the country because of heavy rains that the typhoon Auring brought. Continuous rains triggered flooding and landslides in Negros Oriental, Bohol and Samar, Zamboanga del Norte and Iligan, Cagayan de Oro and in Western Mindanao. The Filipinos are still a positive thinkers. Even though, they are experiencing struggles, they can still laugh at i
