Typhoon Dante has an international name of Kujira. According to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), it has maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is forecast to move east northeast at 15 kph. The Southern Luzon will experience cloudy skies with heavy rains and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will be experiencing mostly cloudy with isolated rainshowers usually in the afternoon. PAGASA advised all the people who are living near the coastal areas to be prepared at all times and also those people who are residing near the mountain areas to be alert and ready for a possible landslides and flooding. They are advised to leave their homes to prevent any tragic incident. But even if most Filipinos are prepared for this disturbance, typhoon Dante still a destructing storm as it left 27 dead people and eight others missing in Bicol region. The National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) said that out of 27 dead people, only four of them were identified by their relatives. They also reported that almost P500 million worth of crops and livestock in Albay, Camarines Norte, Masbate, and Sorsogon were totally damaged.
