The head of the of the Accenture Philippines Business Process Outsourcing, Benedict Hernandez said that the US-base firm used the Philippines as the launching pad for the news healthcare outsourcing service owing to the large pool of English speaking nurses in the country. For the benefits, the service will benefits both new graduates as well as those with the license to practice int he Unites States.
This idea is started in the Philippines, it is a significant new development area for accenture. They produce a lot of nurses, they speak English and have a good service orientation, they thought of taking advantage of that and they were seeing it work. The Accenture is delivering the care management services, with the total employees seen to grow to 25,000 by the end of year, the company currently has 10 facilities in Metro Manila and two in Cebu. The strong growth potential for this service, nurses can build a career in Accenture.
