A thousand of Filipinos seeking a jobs in Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing or IT-BPO. However, by government it lack skills to quality that will have a better chance with the development of a training program. The TESDA or the Technical Education and Skilla Develop0ment Authority and the Business Processing Association of the Philippines or BPAP signed a memorandum of an agreement for the P500 million expansion of the Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing or IT-BPO Industry-Based Training for work Scholarship Program for 65,000.
To help applicants to acquire new skills needed to qualify for jobs in the Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing is the aim of the program. President Aquino approved the additionalP500-million budget then the expansion of the program came. The Business Processing Association of the Philippines said that, the Filipinos knowledge worker is already internally recognized as world-class and they are now universally recognized as a number one in the world in voice or call centers. He also added that, their big opportunity is to leverage this success and became the number one destination for Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing in general. To achieve the goal, the TESDA helps the program by directly addressing their biggest constraint.
It will be implemented nationwide, aside form voice the training program covers an important segments of a non-voice Business Process Outsourcing such as legal, health care Information management, animation, publishing, game development and a software development. The BPAP help to manage the P400 million of the additional funds in collaboration with its partner, the TESDA designated BPAP to help. Its partners are The animation Council of the Philippines, the Game Development Association of the Philippines, the call center association of the Philippines, the National ICT Conference of the Philippines, the healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines and the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines and the Philippine Software Industry Association.
Their training will give the scholars the crucial skills sets that they need and help them to improve the odds for them to be hired, this line is stated by the Director General Joel Villanueva of TESDA. The key initial component of the government and the Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing industry Roadcamp 2016 is the additional funding for the training program, this is to increase a total industry generated jobs to 4.5 million in 2016 from 1.8 million in 2010 then $25 billion exports in 2016 from $9 billion.
The Budget Secretary Florencio Abad said that for the employment and the revenue potential of the industry, they view that as a reasonable investment by the government. He also added that the same government-industry is going to be entered. This is with the five primary industries that was identified by the administration of Aquino. This are the drivers of employment and growth which are agriculture and fisheries, general infrastructure, tourism, semiconductor and electronics.
The outsourcing has a big impact in the world, most of the people want to outsource because they know that they will have lots of money here. Every one wants to have a lots and good benefits so that they want to work in outsourcing company which is true. This has a big advantage to all.
