The crisis in Japan is expected no to affect Business Process Outsourcing companies in the Philippines as most of them have cataclysm systems in place. Vice President for International operations, Mike Perry told the BusinessMirror when asked on the impact of the three disasters that have hit Japan that it all depends on the telecommunications companies, if their services are not interrupted. He said that there is not much effect on their business, unless all four locations. In Hong Kong, London, Canada and the US where they have a data center experience a crisis of that magnitude. The executives of both companies says that they remain optimistic of growth and regard the disaster in Japan as a temporary setback for the region.
